Ordering and being hosted with Parade Hosting binds you to the following policies. Please read over them and review them often, to ensure that you are successfully abiding by and understanding our terms. We have the right to modify, change, delete these policies without notice.
After Ordering
After ordering we will send you an invoice related email from paradehosting@yahoo.com within 3 days. Please make sure that you add it to your address
book so you receive our emails! It will contain payment information and instructions. After you have paid, we will provide you with your account details within 24 hours.
For what happens after you order a free account, please read the Free Hosting section.
Payment
Payments must be made or sent within 7 days after ordering a plan. We will alert you at least 10 days
ahead of time when your next payment is due. When it comes time for the next
payment, clients have 10 days after the due date to send their payments. After the alloted
time given to send the payment passes, your account will be suspended or terminated.
We accept payments through Paypal. With Paypal you can by via your Paypal balance, bank account, credit cards, or debit cards. In order to pay us through Paypal you must have an account with them. Please visit Paypal.com and sign up for an account. It's free, easy, and confidential.
If you need or want to pay
for hosting in way other than Paypal, such as a check or money order, you can choose that option and we will contact you with further information on how to pay.
Refunds
If for some reason you are unsatisfied with our hosting please contact us. We might be able work out a refund depending on your hosting package, the amount of time you've been with us, and whether your package came with a free domain. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to give you a refund. We can make accommodations for you, but cannot guarantee any form of monetary compensation in any circumstance.
Free Domains
Since most of our plans come with a free domain, we must address this issue. After ordering certain yearly plans with us, you will
receive a free domain of your choice. The free domain will remain in our possession while you are hosted with us. Your domain will only be transferred to you and put in your possession if you a) cancel your account, b) switch hosts.
This policy is to ensure that clients are not buying hosting packages solely for the domain and are using it within our services while they are hosted with us.
If your account is terminated with us due to any violation of policy, you will not be given your domain. It will remain in our possession, in all termination cases.
Free Hosting
Parade Hosting offers a free hosting service. Applications are taken on a first come first serve basis. We have the right
to deny a client's application without an explanation. Spaces are limited.
After the client is accepted some form of activity must be visible on the client's site within 2 weeks. We have the right to terminate your free hosting account if a) you are inactive for a prolonged period of time without contacting us, b) you are using the space solely for storage, c) it is found that you have multiple free accounts with us, d) you have a free and paid hosting account, e) you are abusing any policy.
All other policies listed on this page apply to free hosting.
Unlimited Space & Bandwidth
Nothing in the world is unlimited, and that includes server space and bandwidth. When we refer to unlimited space and bandwidth that means it is un-metered. We do not keep track of how much space you are using. Clients are allowed to use absolutely as much as you want as long as they are not crippling the servers with the amount of space or bandwidth they are using. Generally, with unlimited space and bandwidth you be able to use it without ever encountering problems. We will send out a warning if you are using so much that it causes problems with our servers.
Hosted Content
There are restrictions as to what you can upload to our server.
What is NOT allowed:
a) Any type of illegal content such as warez
b) Pornography or non-artistic nude images
c) Obscene, disturbing images and content
d) Hateful, bullying, harassment, or harmful content
e) Stolen content
f) Outdated scripts or software
g) PHPizabi and YaBB Forums scripts are absolutely NOT allowed to be on our server.
If restricted content is found on your account Parade Hosting reserves the right to remove it and terminate or suspend your account, depending
on the severity and nature of the offense.
Cancellation of Service
If you would like you hosting account (of any type) to be shut down or deactivated, please contact support. If you're being hosted for free it is important for us to know
when you are no longer being hosted with us, as there are no payments being made.
Backup / Server Reliability
We are not responsible for server crashes and lost data due to server error. It is the clients responsibility to backup their own files, in case of lost data. We will try to alert clients at least 5 days before a server maintenance or check, to remind them to backup their files.
Account Termination and Suspension
Parade Hosting has the right to terminate and/or suspend your account, with or without notice, based on a violation of our policy. By ordering from Parade Hosting, you accept this. If you are abusing our services without directly violating our policies, we will contact you and warn you of your offense. If the warning is ignored we have the right to terminate and/or suspend your account. All terminations and suspensions are based on Parade Hosting's judgment, evidence, and discretion. No monetary compensation will be given to you if Parade Hosting terminates or suspends your account. If your account is terminated with us due to any violation of policy, you will not be given your domain. It will remain in our possession, in all termination cases.
Privacy Policy
We will never give out, trade, distribute, or sell your information to parties outside of Parade Hosting. Our employees have access to your account information such as name and email for support purposes only. We promise to keep your information safe and secure!
