We’ve been getting some disturbing emails and hate mail lately, saying that we are pretending to own a dedicated server—or that we are hosted by Rewindd.net.
Parade Hosting is 100% independent. WE host Rewindd.net!
We just wanted to let everyone know that we are in no way lying about our status. If anyone would like proof that we own a dedicated server by ourselves—simply email us at support@paradehosting.com.
It really hurts to think that people believe we are trying to blindside the public. We have always been an honest company and we will continue to be. I know this seems like a petty post but we would like to make it clear. We don’t want anyone believing rumors.
On a brighter note, we hope everyone had a great New Year’s! Hooray for 2009! 
Server Transfer Completed

Our server change has been a success! Parade Hosting and its clients are now located on a dedicated server named Rocco. It is now safe to login to accounts and upload/edit files!
Here are the server specifications:
Server Name: Rocco
Operating System: Centos 5.2
Processor(s): AMD XP2400
Control Panel: Cpanel/WHM
Apache Version: 2.0.63
PHP Version: 5.2.8
MySQL Version: 5.0.67-community
Dedicated RAM: 1GB
Along with it,
- Fantastico has been installed
- The quota problem has been fixed
IMPORTANT: If you have custom nameservers with Parade Hosting you will need to change the IPs to:
216.180.225.234
216.180.225.235
If you have your domain under us, we already took care of this for you.
FTP is now enabled.

Server Move

We’re in the middle of switching to a dedicated server. The DNS will not switch over for a few more hours.
I have disabled FTP. However, clients may still login to their cpanel and upload files [b]AT THEIR OWN RISK[/b].
Those with custom nameservers, please stay tuned for the new IP addresses.
The downtime that lasted several hours today was due to our VPS and datacenter. It had nothing to do with the move, but surely triggered us to move today.
If you are currently having trouble accessing your account we ask that you wait until you hear the word from us that the move is over.
